Albion, Nebraska, is a testament to the power of a united community in achieving better access to healthcare and childcare. Their journey began in the 1990s, focusing on empowering local investment through a new sales tax measure. This financial boost unlocked a wave of impactful projects that would ultimately provide the fuel to revitalize their downtown, bringing in new businesses, supporting existing businesses, and drawing visitors from the region.  

With the downtown thriving and tourism being generated through the new Boone County Agriculture and Education Center, Albion has been able to focus their efforts on quality of life opportunities and addressing the critical needs for updates in health and wellness.  They've recently completed two more major projects, the Boone County Health Center and Boone Beginnings.  These new additions address key issues for all ages by providing improved health care for all and daycare for young families.
